Quavo Teases His New Version Of The National Anthem -- Listen Here

Since last August, fans of Migos have been begging the group to create a new version of the United States national anthem. Those cries were heard because Culture II will have one!

On Monday (Jan. 15), which was Dr. Martin Luther King's birthday, Quavo teased a snippet of his rendition of the "Star-Spangled Banner" on Instagram. His version is named "Culture National Anthem." On IG, Quavo used old video footage of Dr. King to help share his new track. "C U L T U R E N A T I O N A L A N T H E M Happy Bday M L K ✊🏾 C U L T U R E I I 👀," he captioned the post.

"Can you see my people pray?/ Take a knee/ We don't need stripes/ We got bright stars/ We gon' still fight for that race card," Quavo croons on the slow beat. He adds, "Mama told me break out of these chains and son you'll go far."

In a previous interview with TMZ last year, Quavo spoke about the possibility of making a new anthem. “There’s a lot going behind the national anthem,” Quavo told the news outlet. “I would love to do it, but I wanna do a 2017 national anthem for both people and all races. Something that’s representing now. Something that representing the modern day national anthem.”

So, without further ado, peep a snippet of Quavo's "Culture National Anthem" below. Culture II drops Jan. 26.
