Growing up in Philadelphia PA, there was a lot to be proud of. One thing was that Kobe Bryant was a home town hero. Long before the Lakers he was leading his High School Team to championships that Lower Merion only dreamed of. Now that he is gone, you start to reminisce on his excellence on and off the court. If you are from Philly or any of the surrounding areas, you are 99% of the time a DIE HARD EAGLES fan! No matter where you move to. This was not any different for Kobe Bryant who celebrated with the rest of the city when they won the SUPER BOWL. It hurts and it will hurt for some time, but I grew up in the era where there was Allen Iverson vs. Kobe Bryant, I always rode with A.I however Kobe was from the city so he was still good in my book! But to watch them go head to head, was always diffiult. But before there was A.I Vs. Kobe, it was Kobe vs. Rip Hamilton in the early 90's. Check out this Pic I dug up! From today on I'm living 24/8!
