Young Thug's lawyer, Keith Adams, recently revealed that the Atlanta-born rapper regrets taking a plea deal in the YSL RICO case that wrapped on Tuesday (December 3).

According to HipHopDX, the lawyer, "who represented Thug alongside Brian Steel", appeared on TheFitLawyerATL's Youtube channel on Thursday (December 5) to discuss the trial (which lasted just over a year), citing regret in entering the plea.

"Jeffery [Young Thug] called me about five minutes after that verdict came down […] His reaction was twofold."

Adams continued:

"He was happy for [Gotti] and for Stillwell. Very happy. He was happy that they’re coming home. There was a part of him I think that was thinking, We probably should have gone all the way ’cause we would have been walking out of there with a not guilty verdict as well....There came a point where Jeffery made a decision to enter that plea and go home that day, and he did. So his reaction, he was happy for them [but] there was a little bit of regret on his part."

The lawyer mentioned that the "Trance" hitmaker is currently in L.A. and that he's "doing just fine and he’s gonna be doing just fine."

Thug was released from jail in November and was sentenced to 15 years probation.
