GloRilla and Kendrick Lamar dominated the airwaves this year with their award-winning hits.
As part of iHeartRadio's Rewind, which drops Thursday, December 4, the Memphis rapper and the Pulitzer Prize-winning lyricist were revealed as the top two most popular Hip-Hop artists of 2025. Drake, Future and Sexyy Red close out the Top 5. GloRilla filled the charts with hits like "TGIF," "HOLLON," "I LUV HER" featuring T-Pain, and "WHATCHU KNO ABOUT ME" with Sexyy Red, which all stem from her debut album, Glorious. Meanwhile, Kendrick Lamar had the airwaves on lock with songs like "Not Like Us," "tv off" with Lefty Gunplay, and "luther" featuring SZA.
Speaking of which, Big Glo's "WHATCHU KNO ABOUT ME" and Kendrick's "luther" were also among the most-streamed Hip-Hop songs of the year. In addition, SZA and Kendrick Lamar's "30 For 30" and Leon Thomas' "MUTT" were also included in the top 5. The No. 1 Hip-Hop song is Chris Brown's "Residuals," which is still popular among fans even after it dropped in 2023.
Kendrick Lamar also made the list of Top iHeartMedia Artists Overall with 2.4 billion total audience spins (TAS). He came in at third just after SZA, who had 2.6B TAS. The dynamic duo also made the Top iHeartMedia Songs Overall list with "luther," which landed at No. 2 with 880M+ TAS, and “30 For 30," which garnered 695M+ TAS. Kendrick's “squabble up” rounded out the top 10 with 507M+ TAS.
GloRilla, Kendrick Lamar, and Drake all received Grammy nominations ahead of the 68th Grammy Awards. Glo and K.Dot are nominated for Best Rap Album and Best Rap Song while Drizzy and PARTYNEXTDOOR earned the nod for Best Melodic Rap Performance. We'll see who will take home the most golden Gramophones on February 1, 2026.
