The Houston Astros (44-47) defeated the Tampa Bay Rays (52-34) 10-8 on Saturday night in Houston. With the loss, the Rays saw their winning streak snapped at nine games.
The Rays built leads of 7-2 and 8-5 but the Astros mounted a comeback. They scored three in the bottom of the seventh to tie the game 8-8, then Yordan Alvarez hit a two-run homer with no outs in the bottom of the ninth to walk off with a 10-8 win. Alvarez finished 3-for-4 two homers and six RBIs in to have a monster night.
